Gil Gilpatrick has over 35 years experience as a professional guide. Much of his guiding was done on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. This extensive experience plus a love and respect for all wild areas has made him one of the most recognized and respected canoeing guides in the state. Now retired from active guiding, he has put his years of knowledge together to assist Allagash travelers to, not only have a successful voyage through this famous Waterway, but to show them why it is such a special place.
